Hi Sparky 100, I'm sorry hear this.
One of the first things to check is that wheels and track are clean. Since the model was last released by us in 2014, I'm assuming it's either one you have had for some time or a recent acquisition? In either case, it is possible that there is some mechanical problem which may have developed, so worth checking that the wheel Back to back is correct and that the quartering of the wheels is also correct.
If everything looks OK then I've been told by other modelers that adding some weight in the body of the loco can improve haulage.
This model was designed quite some time ago and is one of the reasons we are currently improving this model is to improve the haulage, as well as some other aspects.Regards

Andy Dapol Is there any update on the new version with diecast chassis please? I seem to recall the last I heard was 'due Qtr 4 2021'
Thanks

Hi newportnobby
Thanks for asking. I remember we had planned back in February for a Q4 readiness. Of course, since then there has been difficulty with shipping and with factory production. All this has meant uncertainty and slippagees. We've not announced a revised date as we don't have any production dates yet. As soon as we do Neil will announce an update. Sorry for the uncertainty on this project, which is frustrating for us as well.Regards

Thanks Andy Dapol
I'd been checking my pre orders at Rails of Sheffield and their site stated Qtr 4 2021. Your reply is much appreciated

Hi Andy Dapol , do you guys have any updates on the M7? Is it likely to be a 2022 release do you think, or are the factories still struggling with staff and supply?
