Good news on the potential new batch of Brit’s just a couple of questions

1. will there be any improvements to them? Given the numbering issues I have seen people report such as loose traction tyres, binding motion and one overheating, will there be changes made to stop these.

2. I notice that 70050 and 70051 will be included, will a new tender tooling be produced for this as 70045 to 70054 had a different tender, BR1D as opposed to BR1 or 1A fitted to 70000-70044, see pic for how their tenders looked https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/37173244274/

Hi Ed,

The design team have made some modifications to improve the running characteristics of the locomotive.

A modification to the tooling has been made to create the impression of a coal pusher on the relevant tenders.

great to see another variant covered for this class, suddenly an S&C layout has appeal again. Can’t wait to see how these models progress
