Will there be any additional 66 releases to make up a batch?
A de-branded EWS similar to 66002 but as a solo release would be good.

Yes definitely there will. We already have some great candidates but suggestions are always welcome. For the EWS de-branded Class 66 which number would you suggest?

66039 would be a good pick - it was one of the early ones to be de-EWS'd in 2014 so it spans a wide time period
In terms of detail, I think it's identical to 66002. Looking at some old photos, I don't think they all got the front end stickers to begin with but 039 did.

Some good suggestions there. I can't see a market for a Fastline re-run though. The ones that appear on ebay never fetch a lot of money.
I would love to know, permissions aside, whether it would be technically achievable to create the intricate London Underground liveries on 66718 and 66721 in n gauge. Joel Dapol ??

It certainly would be a challenge but one that I think we culd do. The main problem here is permission. I have tried on a couple of occasions and have not been successful.

Never knew a Fastline one was done. Thought Graham Farish did it (and I just don't like the GF Class 66). And as Joel said, the livery though intricate, will not be much of a problem. There's been more complex liveries on European models in smaller scales replicated nicely. For complex liveries they use laser printing or something like that.
