Only the sound fitted locos. However a speaker chamber and contact points are provided even in non factory fitted sound versions.

    Hi Andy
Just a photo showing my Class 50 in next year's Club livery. Good choice and the photo is sent only out of interest. This has sound fitted as well. I shall order the new model for sure.

Is there any scope for producing an un-numbered variant?

I read an interesting comment on that. Someone once said that those who are happy to apply decals would most likely be happy to remove the tampo-printed numbers too...

Apparently it's been experimented on before and it's failed.

Maybe they can offer a system similar to pre-ordered and see if it is viable?

Interesting. I can see how that might be the case.

I know it’s not Hoovers but I’ve just had a spare 73138 renumbered and weathered by GC Weathering. Very impressed.

Sectorisation liveries have not sold that well for us either in the Class 56, 58 or 86.

That's sad to hear, I've always wanted a "Mainline Blue Class 58", I missed out on buying the last one at Hattons by a few days

JeremiahBunyan personally, I think the Load Haul variant is a pretty sexy beast... #50135

Would make a good limited edition for someone

I have pre- ordered the large logo class 50 already.

I'll consider buying original or revised nse too if I like the model and it runs well.

I do quite like the 50 in triple grey. how many ever carried this livery and for how long?

One 50149 in BR Days think it was about 88 or 89 to 91 she was back in NSE before withdrawl, 50117 also carried the livery in preservation

ah ok thanks for answering that. 50149 got different bogies too so I just read.

I suppose laira blue and grey roof is another limited edition possibility for the future, maybe kernow would like that as south west themed...

The bogies themselves weren't different to the standard type (which are largely interchangeable between 37s, 50s and Deltics, with some caveats), but the gearing was different to make it more suitable for freight. The experiment appears not to have been particularly successful as no more were re-geared. I understand that the bogies which were used are currently under preserved 37003.

Don't know if this has been asked before but could 50040 come in named so the buyer could choose if it's leviathan or Centurian?

                  Wasn't 50011 named Centurion?

It was but the name was transferred to 50040 after 50011 went to Crewe Works.
