An image for proof that the yellow warning panel forms a straight line dividing it between the yellow and white/beige.

And an image showing the actual shape of the black masking around the headlights.

Hi
43185 has a curved edge onto the yellow as per Dapol's sample, however it's not black!

There also seems to be a couple of issues Neil Dapol and @Joel Dapol
- The black masking around the headlights is the wrong shape, this seems to be an outstanding issue with Dapol HSTs, even the FGW HST has the wrong shape yellow warning panel around the headlights.
- The yellow warning panel on the Swallow variant has a curved line dividing the yellow and white, it should be straight.
I've just used MS Paint to highlight it, so sorry for the low quality edit. I hope these issues are looked into and corrected before production.

I'd also add - a run of GNER power cars with the original style headlights wouldn't go a miss. They ran with these for the majority of their time with GNER.

Gotta agree with that, couldn't find GNER power cars anywhere online.

Will the announced set in ex-Virgin/LNER red with EMR branding have coaches to go with it? The real ones are having EMR branding applied to the coaches as well as the power cars (Virgin and LNER only had branding on the power cars). Thanks

That 'new' EMT livery only appeared on the three sets transferred from Grand Central. It's now been more or less removed from the power cars (they are plain blue).

I see that the Gaugemaster list states that the coaches with the power cars in blue/yellow and Swallow liveries will also have printed representations of sliding doors. Is this as intended? Because if so it's wrong - those two power cars never received the modifications to work with the sliding door stock, so the correct Mk3s are GWR green or FGW blue slam-door stock.

Neil - would you consider another run in Crosscountry livery? Those are one of the few which will remain in use for a few years yet. The Gaugemaster mention of printing to represent the sliding doors is interesting, and could possibly be used here too? Also, it might allow the Scotrail livery (these two and the GWR green are the only liveries intended to be in use after the end of this year as things stand).

The advertised product is as the customer has requested it. Dapol do not have the necessary tooling to make all of the coach types required to make the full train. New tooling was considered but it was deemed to be too costly to make it a financially viable option.

I got exited when I saw the NMT, but this is just another botch job delivering only two coaches. Has any thought been given to those people who originally bought the NMT Power Cars from Dapol?
