The obvious choices for them to sell will be anything iconic or widespread in some way. Therefore it always leaves the biggest and well known locos from the "BIG 4". The LNER A4 (done), LNER A1/3, LMS Coronation Class, GWR Castle Class, GWR King Class, SR MN/BoB/WC and BR Britannia. Beyond the actual Britishers to the outside world, these are the most iconic locos well know to those outside of the UK.

Jeremiah, you are absolutely correct, but that's the fantastic dilemma we are in, what to do next :-) It definitely needs careful consideration.

Exactly! If you look at the current market situation it's the big things from the LNER and SR that seem to be popular. BR has always been so because of it's longish life and somewhat standardized liveries. But then you also have GWR and LMS things picking up the pace. I do pity you'll.

Please don't do a BR Britannia, because I will want one and I will have to go DCC. Resisting temptation isn't my strong suit.

Well since all of the Black Label A4s are now sold out I am hoping that a new Black Label locomotive will get announced, really hoping for a GWR King Class, both GWR and BR liveries at that, or the BR valanceless A4s.

Being an owner of four black labels I was surprised to see that there are a few in stock ,the last time I checked they were all sold out ,so where have these come from ??

Lots of reasons...
- Unsold stock found in the depths of the warehouse
- Damaged models repaired
- Customer returns
- Retailers returning stock

That's just the usual reasons as to why there's suddenly additional stock.

I would also love to see more black labels,Flying Scotsman for sure ,I know tooling costs quite a lot so if Dapol still have the tooling from the A4 B L,s how about some in B R livery,how about creating the great gathering ,copying hornby I know but these would be a favourite with the collectors ,,the four black labels I've got are superb ,they make the hornby ones look cheap and toyish and I'm sure many others think the same so come on Dapol design and build more ,,
