Shall there be product codes shortly for the Tesco curtain containers to pre-order shortly? Hoping for at least 2 x 2 packs of Tescos and 2 x 2 packs of Tesco and Sobart (fingers crossed for the latest liveries/brandings).
Has any decision for the order of 45ft high cube containers following the curtains been decided? I know more Malcolm was suggested (and very welcomed). I am looking forward to running Russell trains with the Tescos and Malcolms.

We are currently painting the Tesco Containers so will publish stock codes for ordering very shortly and we are really looking forward to getting stuck into these other great liveries.

Excellent, I look forward to seeing photos and more importantly buying. The 45ft holds huge potential!

The 2XL (new design 'the best way to excel') & Tesco (2XL branded) quickly allows the Purfleet rake to be modelled along with the Tesco curtainsided containers.

I know I'm going to be a pain by asking but I know Malcolm Logistics use 50' boxes now, any chances to replicate them in the future?

Ouch that hurt :-) No, it's a great suggestion and something that we will look into.

I purchased some Tesco containers from Oxford Rail last year....

They are curtain sliders and sit on the Megafrets really well....

Yes the livery application is spot on with them, but they have annoying holes in the top. Hopefully Dapol's shall be along soon. Along with the Tesco less co2 rail 45ft high cubes with 2XL branding to capture the current Tesco workings

Excellent! I look forward to the newer Tesco 'less co2 rail' curtains shortly along with the Malcolm 45ft hi cubes. Shall Russell's be during 2017 too? If not, perhaps 45 ft high cubed Tesco 'less co2 rail' containers? (Both Tesco types and Russell containers have been transported by the IDA wagons)

I think Russell containers are on the cards at some point.

Most excellent to hear Joel Dapol. The Russell containers seal in the triangle of supermarkets out of Daventry-Crick. Sobart-Tesco, Malcolm-ASDA/Co-op & Russell-Sainsbury/Morrison.

This specific container set, not for a while I am afraid. We will, however, be releasing different container numbers of the same design in the near future. I hope that helps.

        Hello,

managed to get each of the last run of Tesco co2 containers in clean and weathered which are excellent to add to my collection.

are you expecting to release any further container packs before the end of the year?

        Thanks,
        Matt.

HI Matt, Yes our aim is to release one new container pack a month, alternating between N and OO gauge.

Joel Dapol What shall this months 45 ft container release be? I cannot find any information on retailers websites. With the IDA's here I am hopeful of new design Tesco 'less co2 rail' curtain sides along with 2XL 'excel' livery and Tesco's (2xl) high cubes. The 2XL and Tesco HC would make an excellent two pack for a month after the curtains.

Also looking forward to those 45ft Malcolm and Russell containers you said would be appearing in 2017.

Perhaps a page on the new catalogue of monthly planned containers to help customers plan and pre-order from retailers?

          https://www.flickr.com/photos/dan700/33422850111/

Ideal 2017 monthly releases would include:

          45ft Curtain-side:

2 x Tesco (new design 'less co2 rail')
          1 x Tesco (new design 'less co2 rail') & 1 x Stobart (new design)

          45ft High Cube
          2 x Malcolm
          2 x Russell
          1 x 2XL (new design 'the best way to excel') & 1 x Tesco (2XL branded)
          2 x Unit 45

Cobelfret, Samskip, Geest and older 2XL most welcomed

CNC 45' containers would be appreciated with both small and large logo's for both channel tunnel train modellers as well as general intermodal duties

That leads you to my own video, the white grubby boxes appear to be both 45' and they are both variants of CNC boxes, large and small logo, they were usually found on paris bound freight but now they see action out of daventry

https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/ (These containers also appeared on continental freight, probably a safe bet to make)

https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/ (ECS and Axis worth reruns, offered in packs with Bachmann, not sure if you offered them?)

(The fridge based Stobart international boxes are seen here, with the tooling you can model a lot more reefer, even adapting it to 40 ft)

                http://eddiestobart.com/uploads/vehi...ner__thumb.png (this aswell)

https://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/ (could we have a re run of these if financially viable)

These lot of containers are merely suggestions if you can support it financially, I know I will buy any containers that you produce from this list.

                Regards, Ben

Most of them are not the 45ft High Cube pallet wide type Dapol make. The ECS and GTS were previously released by Dapol and can be found at some retailers/eBay new. Product codes B896A & B896B

I would like some refrigerated 45ft 'reefer' containers yet as highlighted before, there is not a common design and thus any type chosen would be limited to one livery. See here: https://digest.dapol.co.uk/forum/mai...=2467#post2467

What is next months? I am rather keen to model the current domestic intermodal out out Daventry for the supermarkets, as highlighted in previous posts.

N gauge versions next month I'm afraid and we are still working on the next OO version for September release.
