That was a fun day ! It was good to meet many friends again and with around 150 club members attending the site was busy and a good buzz of conversations always on the go. Converted 4 milk tanks to easyshunts and soldered in a few diodes for a few NQP bargains that were passed over for a quick look at. The 3D prints and fineNtrak products along with some 2mmfs track got some conversations going but most comments were for a Rail head cleaning train set as an RTR product.
drinks, food and lovely cupcakes on the go all day, which made the day go better NGS stand certainly active with folk around stand all day.
Post do wind down in the Morton Hall with stand holders, Dapol staff was a fun affair and shows the commitment of all to making a good day for club members.
Hopefully a few pics will appear

Well next do after TINGS - hotel booked and thinking on what to bring - is a show and tell stand an idea for repaints /conversions etc. I will bring long my growing box of 3D print projects and perhaps if a good idea do the coupling conversions again. Whatever looking forward to seeing all at HQ along with many fellow n gaugers and growing numbers of OO an O members.

Sounds like a good idea particularly if they will demonstrate the installation and operation of their wares. I also think it would be good to get some scenic demonstrators in.

What might be worth looking at if any specialist electrical components suppliers eg All Components and or Rural Railways who do loads of the lovely little packets of scenic widgets wtc - offering a bigger selection than the fine dapol shop offers. What we have not had in the past is anybody "doing" buildings?

We have had some regular demonstrations over the years now. I would be very keen to keep the regulars (assuming they are willing), they have been very well received and interesting to watch and talk to. My question would be are there any suggestions as to other exhibitors who would be suitable for the open day that people would like to see?

Early October is traditional now. Thanks for the offer, we'll most certainly be in touch regarding demonstrations.
Full and further information will be posted here once final arrangements have been made.
